Kick-Off Meeting of WellCo Project

Last 4th and 5th of December, the kick-off meeting of WellCo was held in the headquarters of Hi-Iberia in Madrid.
Representatives of all partners forming the consortium of WellCo attended to this meeting – 3 SMES: Hi-Iberia (ES), Monsenso (DK) and ConnectedCare (NL); 2 universities: Universidad de Copenhagen (CH) and SDU (DK); 2 Research Centers: JSI (SI) y FBK (IT) and 1 end-users’ organization: Gerencia de Servicios Sociales de Castilla y León (ES).
The main topic of the meeting was the launching of WellCo, an app based on a virtual coach that drives people to behavioral change actions that are healthier for them by providing personalized recommendations and continuously monitoring them in order to ensure the initiation, adoption and maintenance of these behaviour change actions.
During the meeting, the most important points regarding the concept and scope of the project as well as the innovation it offers, the architecture and the design of the modules that compose it, the plan for the co-design phases with end-users in addition to some aspects related to dissemination, exploitation and management were discussed.
