First version of prototype 1 finished

During the last weeks, the consortium has been working hard to integrate the various modules into the first version of prototype 1. This prototype is now finished and can be used in the first evaluation trials. The prototype of the platform consists of three parts: the app for the senior users, a web application for the researchers and management web application that can be used to connect the senior app to one of the used smart watches.
The coordination app for the researchers can be used during trial 1 to manually organize video chat events. This functionality will in a future iteration be partially automated, shifting the responsibility of setting up such video chat events from the researchers to the virtual coach.
This first version of the senior application consists of the activities section, the social network, notifications, video groups, the profile of the users and a questionnaire. With this set of functionalities, the end-users can already benefit from the application, although it is just the first prototype. Meanwhile, the researchers can collect valuable data and insights on the development, deployment and usage of the application. The evaluation trial will start in the coming weeks and the input from the end-users will be used to improve the prototype towards the next release.
